Congratulations to Natalia Pietrzyk on her successful defense!

I’m proud to announce that Natalia Pietrzyk, a Master’s student I supervised remotely in the Animal Science programme at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, successfully defended her thesis on July 8, 2026!

For her project, Natalia analyzed morphometric and reproductive records from a small, closed herd of Arabian horses to investigate whether these traits were affected by inbreeding depression.

Natalia was a super-efficient and hardworking student, and I am sure she has a wonderful career ahead of her. Congratulations, Natalia!
